Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic’s Nose Scars Coratherapy Treatment Review
Hello, this is Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic, the beginning of Coratherapy for scar removal.
The nose, being the center of the face, is a part that naturally draws attention.
Therefore, having a scar on the nose can be a significant source of stress.
Particularly, the nose has thick skin, making it known that depressed scars in this area are difficult to treat.
However, with appropriate treatment, even depressed scars on the nose can be sufficiently improved.
Today, we would like to share the actual treatment case of a patient who struggled with nose scars
to explain in detail the effects of Coratherapy.

Case :: Ice-pick scars on the nose
History :: More than 10 laser treatments
Report :: 7 sessions of Coratherapy
The case we are introducing today involves a patient who suffered from deep ice-pick scars on the nose,
causing significant stress.
Although the scars were on a small area, the clustered ice-pick scars made them more noticeable.
To address this, the patient had undergone more than 10 laser treatments but saw no improvement,
and thus visited us as a last resort for Coratherapy.
For ice-pick scars, which are very deep, it may seem like there is no improvement
during the initial 3–4 sessions.
Therefore, it is necessary to allow intervals between sessions to monitor the recovery progress.
To ensure this, we planned to complete the Coratherapy treatment in 7 sessions.
For general scars, visible changes usually start to appear after the third session.
However, deeper scars require more sessions.
After completing three sessions, you can see in the photos that the scars are still quite deep.
At this stage, many people may feel discouraged and think, ‘These scars cannot be treated.’
However, this is just the initial process where the base of the scars is gradually being filled in,
so that by the end of the treatment, the scars blend naturally with the surrounding skin.
There’s no need to feel disheartened, even if it seems like there’s no improvement at first.

This can be seen in the fifth session.
Compared to the third session, the depth of the scars has significantly decreased,
and the scars on the upper and lower areas, except for the largest one,
have reduced to the size of regular pores, making them less noticeable.

By the end of the treatment,
even the deep central depressed scar had improved to the point
where it looked more like a pore rather than a scar.
This demonstrates that even deep ice-pick scars can be treated.
Of course, we cannot guarantee that every patient will achieve perfect recovery like the case above.
However, we can confidently say that with Coratherapy, it is possible to achieve satisfactory improvement
for any type of depressed scar, regardless of the cause.
To achieve this, it is crucial to carefully assess the depth, size, and condition of the scars
and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to each individual.
Since 2006, Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic has been pioneering Coratherapy,
and we have continued to improve the needles used each year,
making them thinner and sharper to effectively treat scars
on thick-skinned areas like the nose.
