Review of Coratherapy Treatment for Old Pitted Scars at Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic
Hello, this is Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic, the beginning of Coratherapy for scar removal.
Many people often give up on treating old pitted scars, thinking that they might be untreatable.
However, if the right treatment method is found, even scars that are over 10 or 20 years old
can be sufficiently treated.
Today, we would like to introduce a case of Coratherapy treatment
for a patient who had been concerned about a long-standing depressed scar around the mouth.

Case :: Scar around the mouth from childhood
History :: No prior treatment experience
Report :: 12 sessions of Coratherapy completed
The scar of the patient introduced today occurred when they were 10 years old.
This case involves a deep depressed scar around the mouth caused by a childhood injury.
The scar had been left untreated for a long time due to a lack of proper information about scar treatment
and the belief that it was untreatable.
However, the patient decided to undergo treatment as the scar caused discomfort in daily life,
such as being self-conscious when smiling and avoiding taking photos.
In this case, the challenge was not the duration of the scar but its shape.
The scars were long and densely packed, to the point where they could be mistaken for wrinkles,
and there was also a round scar behind the long scar.
The difficulty in treating such densely packed scars lies in securing regeneration space.
However, it is not impossible to treat.
By gradually securing regeneration space for each scar over time,
it is possible to achieve sufficient recovery.
Thus, the patient planned for 12 sessions of Coratherapy.
The recovery progress of this scar became noticeable from the third session.
Although the scar was still deep and red, compared to before the treatment,
the scar had significantly improved.
Additionally, the round scar behind the long scar showed considerable recovery after just three sessions.

This improvement was even more evident after the sixth session.
Even though only half of the planned treatment had been completed,
the deep and prominent edges of the scar had softened considerably,
and the scar was gradually blending naturally with the surrounding skin.

By the end of the 12th session, most of the scars had been treated.
Although the deepest scar had not completely healed, additional treatment could have resolved it.
However, the patient was already highly satisfied with the results and decided to conclude the treatment.
This case demonstrates that even long-standing depressed scars around the mouth
can be significantly improved with Coratherapy.
This recovery was made possible due to the principles of Coratherapy.
Rodam’s Coratherapy does not simply cover scars;
it activates the skin’s natural regenerative ability to improve scars.
Coratherapy stimulates the damaged tissue beneath the scarred skin with micro-needles,
breaking the adhesion of improperly clustered collagen and creating new regeneration space.
This process induces blood and regenerative substances to fill the space,
resulting in the actual growth of new skin.
The newly regenerated skin does not collapse, which is a significant advantage.
Coratherapy at Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic effectively addresses concerns about long-standing depressed scars.
