Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic Review on Coratherapy for Dimpled Scars after Nostril Reduction Surgery
Hello, this is Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic, the beginning of Coratherapy for scar removal.
Scars caused by nostril reduction surgery are a common concern for many people.
Especially since the nose is located at the center of the face, scars are more noticeable and can cause significant stress.
If a depressed scar remains after surgery, it can lead to dissatisfaction with the surgical results,
as well as increased burden regarding re-surgery or additional treatments.
Moreover, since the scars are caused by cosmetic surgery, the idea of undergoing another surgery can be unappealing.
For this reason, non-surgical methods are increasingly being used to treat scars.
Today, we would like to introduce Coratherapy, a Korean medicine scar treatment method,
along with an actual case study.

Case :: Depressed scar after nostril reduction surgery
History :: No prior treatment experience
Report :: 5 sessions of Coratherapy
The case we are introducing today involves a patient concerned about scars from nostril reduction surgery.
The patient had no prior experience with scar treatment and felt increasingly stressed
as the scar appeared to become more prominent over time.
This can happen due to the location of the scar.
The skin on the sides of the nostrils and around the nose is thin and sensitive, making scars more likely to be noticeable after surgery.
Such scars can deepen or become more pronounced over time, making early management crucial.
Fortunately, the scar was not very deep in this case,
so the treatment goal was set to 5 sessions of Coratherapy, and the treatment began.

After the 4th session, the thickness of the scar decreased, and its color gradually
became similar to the surrounding skin.
After completing the 5th session, the depth and color of the scar improved further,
resulting in an overall natural appearance.
The photos were taken more than a month after the 5th session, showing
that the redness had completely subsided and the recovery was fully complete.
The patient was very satisfied with the treatment results
and mentioned that the stress caused by the scar had significantly decreased.
As such, even deep depressed scars from cosmetic surgery can be effectively treated with Coratherapy.
This is due to the principles behind Coratherapy.
Coratherapy uses specially designed needles to
stimulate the scar and break adhesions.
It not only breaks adhesions but also destroys the scar wall,
designing it to blend with the surrounding normal skin.
By stimulating the dermis layer, it induces the generation of regenerative substances.
These regenerative substances fill the dermis layer, allowing the skin to recover,
and the treated area does not sink again, which is a significant advantage of Coratherapy.
Therefore, if you are concerned about scars from nostril reduction surgery,
we are confident that Coratherapy can be an effective solution.
