Shingles Scar Treatment Review at Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic with Coratherapy
Hello, this is Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic, starting your journey to erase scars with Coratherapy.
Shingles, an unwelcome guest that appears when your immunity weakens.
Shingles not only causes severe pain and stress during its active symptoms,
but also leaves psychological distress due to the scars that remain after recovery.
In particular, shingles scars often have irregular shapes and uneven textures,
making them more noticeable and bothersome.
Many people think that such shingles scars are difficult to completely heal,
but with Coratherapy, full recovery is possible.
Today, we would like to share an actual case
to discuss the treatment of shingles scars.

Case :: Shingles scar on the glabella
History :: No prior treatment experience
Report :: 8 sessions of Coratherapy completed
Shingles is a condition caused by the Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV).
Initially, large blisters form, and as these blisters burst, scabs are created.
However, if these scabs fall off before the skin fully regenerates,
deeply indented scars can remain.
The patient in this case is a woman in her 30s,
who developed a large indented scar on her glabella after contracting shingles 3-4 months ago.
At her first visit, the scar on her glabella was visibly deep and wide.
Since the scar had formed relatively recently,
she inquired whether treatment would be possible.
With Coratherapy, the timing of treatment is not a significant issue.
As long as the scar is clearly visible, treatment is possible even if the scar is relatively new.
Therefore, we confirmed that treatment was feasible for this patient
and planned for 8 sessions of Coratherapy.
Shingles scars often have varying depths and irregularities.
Even after 3 sessions, the depth of the scar was still noticeable.
However, the good news is that deeper scars tend to show better treatment outcomes.

By the time the 7th session of Coratherapy was completed,
you could see how effective the treatment had been.
The scar had visibly lightened, and the deeply indented area,
especially when viewed from the side, had improved to the point where it was no longer noticeable.
The remaining 1 session of Coratherapy focused on the lower part of the scar,
where there was still a slight difference in texture compared to the surrounding skin.
After completing the 8th session, no additional treatment was necessary, and the process was concluded.
Even deep and severe shingles scars
can be sufficiently treated with Coratherapy.
This is due to the treatment principle of Coratherapy.
Coratherapy uses specially designed needles
to break down the adhered tissue.
This process creates space for regenerative substances to fill in,
allowing new skin to regenerate from the dermis layer.
As a result, it is highly effective for treating indented scars caused by shingles.
We hope today’s post has eased some of your concerns about scars.
If you are struggling with shingles scars, don’t worry too much.
We recommend visiting Rodam Korean Medicine Clinic for an accurate diagnosis and consultation.
